6lb 10 oz Tench. Fought well and went back strong, caught on sweetcorn on light float gear, in an old peat works pond.

nice fish mate
iv got a mate hu used to own bout 100acres in the bush, and he had a deep pond/lake bout 3m deep with a jetty and reeds he put 150 silver perch in there, and i was fishing it early mornen on 1.8kg line and haven a ball on fish just like that. i recken the silver perch all died and there was a existing population of tench in there cos the water was stagnant from the cattle crap on the banks. iv also heard of wild populatinons of tench in aus but cant remember were.
