Hillary's session

Went down to Hillary's for s relaxing flick yesterday. Was just chasing herring/whitting and ended up with about a dozen fish. But the most surprising part was when I hooked a little tarwhine it got nailed upfront of my eyes by a large aggressive tailor. Did the classic "chop" and was coming back to finish the job before I pulled my fish out of the water. Was very cool to watch!

Looks like a good little herring sesh you had, as for those tailor me and my cousin (Sammy the salmon) had the same problem with the little pinkies on or yaks getting taken by a 50cm specimen three weeks in a row. On the third trip we took the go pro and he caught some Awsome underwater footage of a 25cm pinky getting destroyed, it's killa to see those sharp teeth and strong jaws in action. We caught the tailor later that arvo for a quick snap and release coz he just wouldn't stop harassing or pinks. It raises the question would a tailor taste alot better if it's diet consists of only Baby pinkies. Haha

Not that I know how to, but upload the vid.
Not wishing to crash a post, but vid of Tailor munch would be tops. I've never seen a live fish loose its tail so neatly. Had many 1/3 chomps though.

a mate earlier in the year was bringing in a decent pike when he had a big tug then reeled in half a pike, the top half left ( maybe 25cm ) went back out under a gang and with in couple minutes i brought in a healthy green back, video would be awesome, esp if you coud slow it right down before impact .
