Hilux Lift kits

Howdy fishwrecked crew, I have an 07 4x4 Hilux Dual cab and am toying with the idea of lifting... I`m not interested in the look at how high and silly my car looks lift I just want a bit more clearance for those soft beaches. Has anybody got any advice on the matter??

Lift kit might not help you

Lift kit might not help you for beach driving unless your going for taller tyres as well. The lowest point will still be the bottom of the diffs.

I dont know if there coil frount or torsion. If its torsion all you do is wind them up a bit. For the rear it wont make any difference (as dodgy said) unless you get bigger tyres.

Bilstein shocks and lovell

Bilstein shocks and lovell springs - give ernie at Autoride a ring - he is in balcatta - had this setup put on the prado and it is amazing offroad and not too stiff on road. Also allows larger tyres - went 265/70 MTZ 5 ribs and fantastic on the beach at 18psi
