been there, done it,
loved it. Was a very memorable experience for the family. Been 3 years since we hired one and are talking about hiring again soon. Was good to kick back
and (here goes) let the missus "drive". The kids running up and down the floating loungeroom. Stopped overnight at the Clansman after having dinner there. Dont think i will be back, the beer, atmosphere and view was brilliant but the food took away from it all. But they could've had a bad night so it may well be worthwhile. There is of course the Pinjarra pub and 1 other i think.
If you didn't know one of the rules are the boat/pontoon must be anchored or docked after sunset till sunrise.
Trolled lures through the estuary for nil, did see some birds but at 5.00001knots we couldnt get there. Dropped nets and had crabs straight on the BBQ for breakfast and dinner. Drinking beers at 7am while cooking a BBQ breakfast on the front deck was very relaxing. all round a great little adventure for the family. has shower, tv, dining and lounge area with separate rooms for tin lids.
Enjoy the experience mate.
