how to guarentee fishing every weekend.

how to guarentee fishing every weekend.

well it's easy!!!

You ask the wife, " can I go fishing every weekend if I ensure the house is vacuumed clean"

she says "yes"
You get then a robot vacuum cleaner....lol

Meet R2, the newest member of the family.

just program it to work while you fish.

bloody well in fact, better

Mon, 2010-03-08 10:51

bloody well in fact, better than I do!
It starts it's elf on pre-grommed time slots and moves around the house, then when the battery is low, ( after 60 minutes), takes it's self back to the docking station for a recharge and off it goes again. It takes about 20min per room on it's auto cycle, picks up all the sand, dust and dog hairs etc.
Only play you need to do is small corners it can't get into and sliding door frames etc. Saves about 95% of the time.

Wife says it's the best thing I have bought in ages...lol

And I can go fishing...lol

yea but, it will get full in no time. wouldnt you have to empty it constantly seeing it doesnt have a large capacity? dust is small but when full, the exhaust will exert dusty, dirty air. well typical vacs do anyways. cool product though. like a giant hockey puck that has a mind of its own. automatic beer coaster? heehe

we found if you empty it

Mon, 2010-03-08 14:06

we found if you empty it every morning and again when you get home, it does not get full. Also the good ones have a sensor and micro dust filter trap, stopping it spewing out dust.

as for cost... well it's not cheap! depending on the model you get. Yes there are cheaper ones on e-bay, but not as good.

I had something like that

Mon, 2010-03-08 22:00

I had something like that years ago. Wife put it on and went out to work. The bloody thing got caught up on a rug and sat there spinning its little brushes away on the same piece of rug for hours. Burnt a hole right thru it. Lucky it didnt set it on fire.

the older models had that

Mon, 2010-03-08 22:57

the older models had that kind of risk. This one has a sensor on the brushes to ensure if it tangles or gets stuck, it switches off. Also if it does not move from a location in 30 seconds, it parks itself and waits for help.
A lot of the cheaper models from china have given people horror stories, but the better ones ( read: cost more!) are more reliable and better and safer. Also we tend to only use it when we around, In fact my son sits and watches it like he just woke up in Star Wars...lol
