Really depends what you're
Really depends what you're comfortable with, I'd be happy fishing the sound in 15knts but other people wouldnt be. I'd get wet in my boat on the move but other boats wont. Definitely wouldnt be comfortable in a tinny but people that know what theyre doing and dont mind getting wet still head out. You wouldnt exactly call the sound "dangerous" when the wind picks up its just a bit uncomfortable thats all...

It will be miserable. Sunday
It will be miserable. Sunday night will be best at this point.
When there are thunderstorms forecasted, each cloud line may have its own breeze. Generally with T-storms forecasted, there is also the chance of isolated squalls.
Further to this, a front is forecast to cross the coast at 1830.
Personally, i wouldnt go, but thats just me

See GI had a gust to 25
See GI had a gust to 25 knots, just after the front crossed. Must have been quite a squall as before and after, breeze was around 10's. Mandurah had an hour of increase, peaking at 29 knots, but with 10's either side.
Did you end up going out?

The rougher it is the more
The rougher it is the more active the pinks are! I don't fish in Cockburn coz I'm NOR, but I head out from hillaries and get stuck into them on the 3mile out from there. I've only got a 16ft ally runabout and draw the line at 20knots max wind and 2m max swell. And at 20knots and 2m's it's a slow bumpy trip but still feel safe in my boat, just gotta know the limits of your boat and drive to the conditions!
Also the sooner you can get out after a storm the better, the pinks are hungry and hit hard!
good luck out there Sunday mate!
