the picture says it all, it was a mission to get him in on 10p line im glad to see the fish in the river are still thriving

haha i got it but it didnt like being out of the water so i wasnt touching it! ive been spined way to many times! yeh it was 53/54 i only just realised the tail is off the board a bit so def 54 theres also alot of flounder atm

Nice catch!! Great size for the river.
I pulled one around the 60-65 mark earlier this season and like pom, have seen others over 70 being pulled in. One bloke turned up with his kid and hooked a monster on a soft placcy as we were passing him. He called us over and said "I don't go fishing much but this is a big one hey?". I was like a stunned mullet, he couldnt fit it in his bucket.
Really got the bug for wading for flatties with lures this year, good fun when its not too hot.
