I am going to persist

I am going to persist in using plastics or jigs for dimersal fishing even though at this stage I have hooked the bottom and lost several jigs, much to my Mates extreme merriment!
Question is:-
How do I set up my line with either soft plastic or hard jig?
Some pics or diagrams of rig setups would help.
Thanks.

Hey mate
sorry couldnt add a pic to this post so had to make a new one with pics
I set up as in the pic so if I want to change out a jig for colour or type or weight I just continue using the assists etc and take jig off split ring and put new one on.
I just tie leader with allbright to top of swivel
FWIW don't worry about loosing a few jigs ...last time in the monties I was going through 10 or so jigs a day.
persist away mate

Losing jigs all a part of
Losing jigs all a part of the game.
on a Barra trip I will lose a couple of hundred bucks if not more worth of vibes and lures, it's a cost or doing business really.
losing your favorite jig/lure always hurts.

absolutely no probs at all.
absolutely no probs at all. I've many times been known to just tie leader straight to jig and ommit everything when in a big hurry to get back down on a hot bite. have still caught plenty like that. It all works

Never
Have never used a swivel always tie to the solid ring , have taken others out that have used them and have seen the assist hook fouled in the swivel more than once
The next time i see that jig will be in the mouth of something big !!
