Idiots Guide to Posting Pictures

Can someone put up an idiots guide explaining how you post pictures IN AN EXISTING THREAD. Then perhaps this could be made a sticky post.

Get the picture ID (right
Get the picture ID (right click the pic, go to properties and copy the location). It should end in ".jpg"
Once you have that wrap it in IMG tags and you're done. Just make sure it doesnt parse your link first (by making it go blue).
E.g. [IMG]Image location.jpg[/IMG_] (just take the underscore out).
So, right click on a pic, go properties and copy the location. E.g. http://fishwrecked.com/files/pictures/picture-4585.jpg
Then type [IMG] and paste your link: [IMG]http://fishwrecked.com/files/pictures/picture-4585.jpg[/IMG_]
Or without the underscore:
If you paste a link without first typing the image tag, it will automatically make it a hyperlink (turns blue). You can stop it by pressing backspace after you paste it.
If the link is black, it will work. You can check this by using the preview button and adjusting it before you click submit.

there is also the photobucket
there is also the photobucket way, create an a account online at www.photobucket.com upload you images there and then once you view your album copy the IMG code from there and paste into your thread, you get bigger versions then uploading at the bottom of your thread
Also PM Adam and get your own photo album and you can then upload your images in there for catch of the month contributions etc

photobucket is by far the easiest way. press the [IMG] link of the uploaded photot/pic and it automatically copies it for you, paste it in your reply on FW - job done.

are you using photobucket? get the account it costs nothing and copy and paste the IMG code once in your album after uploading, once i was shown it's bloody dead easy and the only way to go, you can insert your pics where you want them and tell your story as you'd like.
Bit like a crude magazine article, it could lead to writing for fishing mags, if only i could spell and get my punctuation correct haha
