Submitted by Walker on Tue, 2011-10-25 13:20
Just wondering does anyone sambo jigging off mindarie Two Rocks area. If so does it fire like the trench/containers. Also wondering what depth. Ive got a few good marks in the 50,s and 100,s but ive never seen the sambos schooling. Have caught a few as bicatch. Love to target them this summer without having to travel behind rotto. cheers

sambos
there are a couple of contours marked out of two rocks that can really go off for sambos , there is one about 9 mile out that comes from (36-27m i think if my memory serves me right) that we have jigged and fished plastics on for large sambos many a time . cheers

the gemini wreck always holds
the gemini wreck always holds sambos and there is a few lumps that i know of that hold 20kg+ sambos and yellowtail kings all the time well inside the bank, also the back of the 3 mile in certain spots in 18m seems to hold them aswell.
always looking for a new challenge!!
