4m tinny
Hi there Jas04
I myself also have a 4m runabout tinnie and so does Bodie. We have been having some really good fishing sessions over the past few months with species such as Pyke, Skippy, King George Whiting, Herring, Squid, Flathead, and Gardie's. Mainly been fishing near Garden Island in Cockburn Sound.
The other thing tinnie's are great for is crabbing. I had several great nights crabbing in the swan on the humble tinie in the summer just gone and they would easily be double the size of the Mandurah crabs.
If you want to do a night fish on the swan for mulla's ect and want another boat as company then let me know cos I will be keen.

definately
The weather is pretty damn average this weekend so maybe within the next few weeks we can get it organised when the weather and swell ect is good. Brenz I came into tackleshack with Tailor Marc a few times and you were mentioning how far you guys have been out in your tinnie's before, Crazy!!!!
I am keen as for a group tinnie fish and I am sure that Bodie will be too. Just keep it close to shore (within the 3 mile reef) and somewhere fairly sheltered. Just send me a pm when you guys are keen cos I sometimes have trouble checking the post's each day from my work computer (they are getting harder on us).
speak soon

wrecks
Theres quite a few wrecks in and around mosmans that are worth looking for, not just the moorings and black wall reach. You could spend a lot of time in there looking around for them though.

Many of the wrecks are
Many of the wrecks are broken up to some extent now and far from what they once were. There is a couple of really good ones in closer but dont seem to produce the bigger Mullas.
Most of the big Mullas Ive caught which isnt a lot and seen caught by skilled anglers with me have been away from the wrecks caught on 4 and 6 kilo mono.
Deepwater Mullas suffer with both Barotrauma and Lactic acid build up so you have to be careful with them.
There is a couple of techniques that increase captures out of tinnies. One is that you really need to use 2 anchors with intention that you will have no boat movement/drift or bait movement. (Tinnies make this easier)
The rest you can work out
