I use to put the very best synthetics in my pajero but with an oil change every 5000k and oil and filters every 10k I don't think it matters unless ur towing heavy in the heat working the motor real hard
making sure u warm her up for a minute each morning is way more important

I bought one 2 months ago, is brand new so havent had to worry about adding any but I think in the manual it recommends a 15-40 but double check that
