hey mate. just got back down
hey mate. just got back down from kalbarri last week. fishing off the beach shud be great around christmas. heaps of nice tailor using mulies and of chinamans is running there will be the bigger 2kg and upwards fish there too. in the two days we were there we saw a huge shovelnose and a nice mulloway being hit off the beaches along with lots of shark activity. trolling might be ok in dec but you have to ask the locals about that as it still might be early. hope this helps

Macks and tuna should be
Macks and tuna should be firing up here by xmas. Plenty of pinkies were caught and released in the club comp on the weekend in the shallows. Mulloway will still be around and there should be plenty of tailor coming in from Wittacarra, Chinamens, blueholes, etc. But definately bring the boat. Yes it could be blowing but there's a pretty good chance of getting out even if its only a few hours in the morning. If you would like some more info just fire away
Cheers Mick

Kalbarri fishing
HI, Fish the Kalbarri area all the time, as stated can get windy over xmas but if wind down should have a very good chance of macs and tuna, bottom bouncing will produce both southern and northern species. Used bibbles lures while trolling reduces weed pickup (mac mallers).
beach is great specially around Lucky bay area, tailor, Mulloway, Sharks and plenty more.
