Kalbarri Wobbegong

It was a slow break fish-wise at Kalbarri last weekend. Blew its guts out most days and we caught a great big ZIP after covering a fair bit of ground.
Last ditch attempt was a night fish in the river mouth. Thank goodness Eryn came along as I didn't see ANYone else catch a thing.
Outfished again by the learner - bittersweet. Nice work Eryn - bloody good looking fish.

Good size
Thats a good size to keep, any smaller and you waste most of it when you fillet it. They get to be more tender eating the bigger they get so as the old saying goes "The bigger they are the better are"

not at all mick
If nothing else it motivated us to get amongst it and in doing so we learned a little more about the capabilities and limitations of our boats.
Next time we'll get the glass off and get right after it! And yeh - a veritable butload better than Panna. Gotta love Kalbarri.
Profish - mate i DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT. haha, good on her. I do still maintain that the professionally tied rig was the class that counted.
