Kalumburu Fingermark

Hi All, just got back from 14 days at McGowen Island near Kalumburu. Caught many nice big reef fish including many of these big Fingermark. This one measured 85cm. All released to grow bigger! As you can see, the weather conditions were pretty rough!

Nice fish mate, just spent the last 7 weeks in kalumburu working. We were staying in the dongas at mccowan. You get stuck into any barra????

Barra but no muddies
Got a few nice Barra at the Gorges near the community. Plenty of big mackies, queenies, red fish, jacks etc... Didn't try for muddies, too busy!

Hi Guys, yes we drove in
Hi Guys, yes we drove in from Broome. The last 100kms was pretty rough going.
Plenty of big fat oysters from the rocks. No jewies, we tried but tides were wrong at night while we were there. The caretaker caught and released 20 in one night the week before we arrived.
