Land based metro Mack

Managed to get a metro Mack a few weeks back at North Mole, was targeting them with a mullet under helium (was skipping beautifully) but I have always been told that they're a day light sight hunter, but I got mine at 11pm, I left the balloon out on the off chance of a shark.A bit surprised when line started peeling off the reel and after a nice little fight I saw silver and not the dull colour of a shark showed up in my head light, no gaff or net but managed to steer it between two rocks so when the swell dropped I managed to grab it by the gill plate and lift her up!
