Land based rod length

Hi Guys
Have a Shimano Torium 30 mated to a possidon gold class which i bought for slide baiting .Just wanted to know what rod lenghts you guys use for balloning ,fishing of cliffs up north and off the boat that you would mate the Torium 30 with

Ballooning 10 foot, off the
Ballooning 10 foot, off the rocks about 12 foot, off the beach 13-14 foot.
