Landbase Sambo off the beach haha!

Hey Every one headed up too wilbinga saturdary arvo todo some ballooning and stay the night.
Slow start as it was with the eastlie only blowing 5km and would not take our balloons out.
The morning was looking a little better with swimming the balloons out 50 or so metres to get them going, and then they were going out very slow so i set my drag walked of to get a drink and then it just started sreaming with a good solid fight it was in 45mins and released straight away!!
Approx 20kg ??? can anyone help with that one?

Awesome jake. Around 20kg for sure. I caught one a bit smaller than that landbased a few weeks ago and it gave me an awesome fight almost as good as landbased game fishing gets.
Good work on releasing it just be careful lifting them that way as you can damage the fishes internal organs. If your planning on releasing hold it horizontally so you can support its guts while you get some photos
