last nights fish

went for all nighter down at hilarys last night with james(flangies) and liam(SOI).
managed 2 stingys, 1 big preggo wobby, lil banjo, a little port jackson or two, a nice shark which im not 100% of the type but yeah hes dinner.
lots of bite and bust offs and a 30min fight which resulted in a bust off
a few herring(which are abundant from about 8 til 11 or 12.....so if ur after a bag of herring hillarys definitely worth a try
and 2 or 3 squid....quite alot around aswell but most quite small
sorry about blood on the shark
take note of liams face as he holds the wobby thats pregnant haha

have to admit though got the shark on flangies rod cos he buggerd off squidding and i cudnt call him so i was like bugger it ill bring him in
i also have a new trust in circle hooks which james swears by, never used to really understand them all that much
yeah wrassinator haha we got creative...too many energy drinks
was good to meet up with flangies, great guy and full of knowledge
also...tried a new braid called yamatoya super PE or something in 30lb...i loved it

In fact shark fishing has 2 birth control benefits -
1) U can't chase skirts when fishing;
2) all those heavy metals mean you don't need to tarp up should you manage to find a willing partner that don't mind your fishin...

Rueben try a bit further west on the Swan River
than the Narrows and you might have more luck with the Mulloway at the moment.

hey reub, i got my 1st
hey reub, i got my 1st mulloway 2 days after i return to perth. same spot where james and OT got theirs... when at 16kg. tried to make her swim but she just keep floating... cant give her up to the blowies, therefore took her home to the grills.
good luck on yours.. i'm chasing flat head or salmon now...

i did the worse that night,
i did the worse that night, only to manage 1 yellow tail
but honestly guys.... i have been there for 3 nights in a row and i can't get myself a decert (more then 2) amount of yellow tail or mac to go to the narrows.
dont really wanna use dead bait as the get chew up really quickly.
