Lazy Craying - Cut area and South

Hi Potters
Just wondering whether it is worth dropping the pots shallow still. Cant get out deep due to work (always) and dont need a freezer filler to be happy. So limited to a shallow dash before and after work.
Question- am I wasting my time or might I get the few I might like. Would bait heavy as the freezer is filled with all sorts for crab or cray bait. Just been to busy to have a chance yet after reading all the glowing reports.

Its only 4km from the cut to where you need to be at the moment behind the bank. Doesnt take that long to get there.
People are still getting them in close. and i would say will continue to for a bit longer.

Mate put the phone tower rright in line with the northern edge of the big green watertank on the hill just south and behind the cut you wont miss it when you look back from the cut sea end , keep that line and you will run over some very nice cray lumps in about 15m of water, dont forget to try for a dhuey in the same area some very very good ones get caught around tha t area this time of year

Mate that is awesome info.
But now that you have been so very very kind I suspect there will be 50 boats all crammed on the spot.
This sort of info is what makes me love this spot, and Im all to happy to reply with info in kind.
Thank you all for the above comments. I thought I might be able to get a few in close without trying to return to my birth country off South Africa!!!!!
