LED Cap

Saw these in the latest Club Marine mag, they are powered by a std 9v battery with the LEDS mounted into the brim. 'A slim push switch under the brim allows for 2,4 or 8 LEDS to be switched on or off. The battery is held in a pocket at the back of the cap. Pretty neat arrangement I thought.

Looks like the leds are
Looks like the leds are pointing straight out and a bit more on top of the hat. Might be ok for walking around, but you would think a bit annoying for doing close up work where youd need to tilt the hat a bit? Still a cool idea, but questionable implementation (its too hard to tell for sure though).

As you say, hard to assess unless you were wearing them. With my fat head, the brim could probaly have 60 LEDs in it and around me would look like the WACA
