Lightning

had a pretty good thunder storm come through as most of you would have, I always try to get some pictures when that happens, this is my best one tonight.

Rather spectacular at the Neil Diamond concert too. The light show behind the stage topped off a great concert.

Opinion of the Neil diamond show

What did you think of the Neil Diamond concert. Did he do his new songs or stick with the all time favourites

He only did one new song from his latest album. And its a good song too.

All his songs were well known and had us all standing, singing and dancing (some in zimmer frames).  Did not realise the story behind Brooklyn Roads  (being a true story of his life).

Sung for 1.5 hours non stop. Did not do much talking about how he loves Perth or about himself.

Did a small encore.  Sweet Caroline had the crowd singing in unison - went for about 10-15 minutes long.

Beauty of the night.... no evidence of drugs (mind you average age was probably 60), it was like everyone had a good time together.

Nice picture Dale, I was out kicking for prawns on the river when it rolled in, got a bit hairy and had to take cover.

Thanks guys, bit of a fluke though. I captured it on my Samsung Galaxy phone using the Lightning Camera App. When you see the Lightning, you press the button on the screen and the app will have collected images from the previous 2 seconds, some 18 images. You just sift through the images captured in sequence, and low and behold, I found this image among them. I'd had a few boags by this time, so I wasn't overly quick off the mark, so the 2 seconds really helped.
