got this good size lionfish on half a skippy fillet off Jurien bay

I would imagine that not many are caught by fishemen.
Would look good in your fish tank.

WE've caught them before.
WE've caught them before. They are a pretty awesome fish! They are becoming alarmingly more common in our southern waters over the last few years though.

Thats a beautiful picture mate. I love them. I have one in my saltwater tank in my loungeroom. They really have a character of their own.

yea thats the first iv caught an seen. my mate at work said he got spicked by one when diving, came to surface an his arm cramped up an arm or body was like on fire for 5 hours all he could do was bite a towel an sit it out!
so the little bugger got caught an released haha!
