Lithium Batteries

Hi,

It's about time I replaced my boat batteries.  I have two for my twin 150hp 4 stroke Yamahas.

I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with installing lithium cranking batteries.

The link below is for an iTechworld option.  Quite expensive, but they are light (8kg) and meant to last 3 times the discharge cycle. Also claims to charge from the standard alternator.

Thoughts?

Cheers

Have a look at DCS mate, I'd lean towards them just over Enerdrive.

www.evworks.com.au/batteries/   They supply batteries for all sorts of applications. Corresponding with some blokes on the Ausfish forum, they have been using them for some time with good results, and they are very helpful with advice as well.
