Yeah, that was the tuesday after the exie comp. we called stumps straight after that and headed back to perth. wouldnt have been too bad if the forecast didnt keep getting our hopes up all the time. Still we got a heap of mackies and tuna on the sunday then put out the bigger gear and went chasing after a billy or two but didnt get a sniff. had a quick bottom bash in the shithouse condititons and managed a cpl of spangos, rankins and robbos and slug caught a nice corronation that we didnt photograph for the comp as we didnt think it would have got on the board. monday was a write off, tuesday we struggled in the slop for spangos and rankins and slug pulled the red up on the last drop.
a few good points from the weekend: we now have a safe route thru south passage and we discovered it is possible to live on nothing else but home made chilli jerky, home brew and home made vodka for 86 hours as long as you keep a window open
