Local Salmon

Hey guys, after a snap decision to go for a salmon hunt yesterday in the rain I found myself standing in front of a ripper school of salmon at one of my local SW beaches.

Sizes were varied from 4-7kg ( no mystical 10kg models) with a fish a cast.

Great to get into a few.
Cheers

Nice work...they are great fun. Should've grabbed a bream rod in those terrible conditions...

I'd like a photo of a 10kg salmon on scales if anyone has ever seen or caught one...ever

I'm suffering serious location envy. :)

Wow that black blotch looks good. What lures did the trick?

Great to see the Alvey brand name in the thick of it, even if it was printed on the man bag.

thanks for sharing.
