Love this rod

Bought this little 2-5kg rod from a tackle shop down here(busso) a while ago for flathead, tailor,kgs etc. Lately been usin it as my soft plastic rod for slightly larger things.
Great rod, small fish are still good fun on it and the bigger ones make it a bit of a challenge. Got a 2500 ci4 on it, perfect all round combo in my opinion.

Some great fish there mate. And you got to love the 2500 ci4 I used the same reel last summer on the sbt, s on the ffb.

i have to agree, those little stradics are bloody amazing kit for the money!
I just love my 2500 on a Sahara 2-4 kg rod....a great outfit for under 400 bucks all up.

That pinky was from Wednesday night, good fun. I've caught quite a few between 70-90cm this season on that rod.
I got the reel on special for $200 and the rod was only $50, don't need super expensive stuff to get quality fish.
