low tides in the Swan River

The tides seem to be really low at the moment in the river and it is the first time I have seen the South Perth Ferry cause waves to break over the shallows mid river.. Be careful when boating and be sure to stay in the channels..

Not kidding. has been like this for the past few days. You can walk right across from Applecross to Pt Walter because all the flats are exposed. Maybe there is a Tsunami on the way????? Lol

Yeah i went for a walk at lunch down Como jetty. Low tide was .35 i think. Lots of sand showing.
I see it a couple of times a year. In a seabreeze, you can see it coming back in.

Low tides along the coast as well. Coming off a new moon, a low swell and easterly winds will do it.

yep was on the swan last
yep was on the swan last night, water was terribly dirty, assuming because of the low tide.
