Lowrance elite5m chartplotter problem - how do you make the map auto scroll????!!!

Hey Guys,
just got one of these chartplotters and can't figure out how to make the map autoscroll while moving. I had an older lowrance chart plotter and when you were just about to track off the screen the map would automatically move so you knew where you were going. With this one I have to keep pressing the arrows to move the map.
Any help would be great!

Sounds like maybe you've got your cursor constantly up, if you have the cursor up it will always hold the screen centered over the cursor position. I know with global map and hds and thats the case with them so i'd assume the same with the elite. if the cursor is up press the exit button and the cursor should disapear and it will go back to holding the boat position as center and should scroll the map as the boat moves.
That said, it maybe the default setting so if that's not the trick then go looking through the menu options and settings

Go to Menu button- Then scroll down to 'Return to boat'- the screen will then centre around the boats location. Every time you scroll with the cursor it will centre on the cursor and not the boat.
