has anyone heard of the spanish mackeral that are supposed to be getting caught in warnbro sound ?

Haven’t heard anything about warnbro
But today watched bait school get smashed from work.(Cockburn) For about 2 hours .Decent size fish hitting them . By splashes, nothing went airborne. All pushed up top in tight bundle

Saw a similar school last
Saw a similar school last wednesday out the front of our joint. It was a massive school with birds working from the top.

Birds today also
Poor buggers getting hit from below and top .No leaps . So not long tail / possibly not mackerel.i was thinking bonito . Only reason for that was close to jetty and for such a long time. I would have thought Mack’s/long tail would have only been there for short time ?
