Mandurah Crabs and Muscles

Mandurah is still holding some good crabs and we picked up 15 in less than an hour using nets.
Snorkeled around some structure and got a load of mussles aswell, good size at around 10cm long each, and full of meat.

Thats good to hear Dean. I can't wait till I get back home so I can get some fresh crabs and mussels. Chilli and garlic mussels are the best!

Is there many places in Mandurah where people without boats can go to target some crabs?

There are plenty of places
There are plenty of places to go scooping all along the estuary. Turn left after heading south over the dawsville bridge. Senic drive its called. Plenty of people go there but really anywhere on the water away from the centre of town is worth a look. Coodanup, Nairns, Island point are some more places that come to mind. For drop nets most local jetties might get you a few crabs
