Sorry ive got no photos but just wanted to let everyone know there are still salmon around dawesville cut. They busted up late Sunday arvo bout 5m from the rocks but didnt get a hookup on a whole herring so went back yesterday and they busted up about a meter from the rocks so i dropped the rapala down and didnt even reel, just dragged the lure and hooked up straight away. Fish weighed about 3kg, about average size fish for this time of year, and was given away to another family fishing down there. Also caught a 30cm skippy on a 5in hot orange mcarthy plastic which was great fun on 8lb line.
