i tried to make some prawn
i tried to make some prawn and crab ravioli but failed miserably.
i'll share this little gem, had this on Saturday night and loved it!
Crabs in Rich Coconut Sauce
2 garlic cloves crushed, 4 shallots, finely chopped, 1 inch ginger root peeled and grated, 1 whole Habanero chilli, 2 tbsp of oil, 500g cooked crab meat or 5 crabs broken up, 210ml coconut cream, 1-2tbsp cornflour, 3 tbsp water, 300ml cream, lemon wedges to garnish
Put garlic, shallots, ginger and chilli into a food processor and blend into a paste, gently fry off in a wok with oil for 3 mins. Add your crab and heat through for 3-5 mins stirring frequently. Pour in the coconut cream and bring to the boil. add pure cream and simmer for 5 mins. Blend cornflour to a smooth paste with the water. Pour into the crab mix. Should be a bit stiffer than cake mix. Serve with crusty bread, pita bread or serve with rice for a main meal.
