Margaret River

Hi,

My wife and I are heading down to Margaret River this weekend and was wondering if there are any good fishing spots down at Margaret River? This is our first fishing trip down south. Also, what size rods would we need to bring along?

Try Cosy Corner to the south of Margaret River, or you can go to Yallingup if you want some good rock fishing

Or end of redgate rd / canto rd /junper rd/kicarrup rd

But all the above can kill if swell is up, So go to fishing shop first and ask him about weather and if its aright on the day

Yep, that's good advice as it can get pretty hairy down there

If the swell is too big or it is too windy you can always head up Dunsborough way.

The low centre of gravity makes it hard for the waves to knock you over.

Just keep heading south as

Just keep heading south as far as you can. You will see the turd farm on the way to the carp ark. Get out, head straight to the beach and fish on the rocks, casting northish into the bay IIRC.
