Just had the boat in for a service at Men on boats ,had been having some electrcal problems and cold start probs for a short time .The guys down there were great ,they did the full survice and spent time checking for faults,I had an intermitant fault which only happens now and then which made it hard to trace.A case of letting the motor tick over and wait for the fault to show .Took some time but they got to the bottom of things which is great.MMC computer seems to be at fault good to know what is going on ,down side not cheap to fix, anyway in all good service and a very freindly group of guys thanks to Malcom and Andrew ,got a discount on top, well done guys top job.

They have done a couple
They have done a couple services and some other work for me too. They did miss something which left me stuck in the marina a few weeks back, but they sorted that out. They have my motor running really niciely right now, better than any other mechanic has had it running and they showed a bit of inititative remounting the forward controls when replacing the cables so the run is a bit smoother too.
Fantastic to hear they found out whats up with your boat though Paul, thats bugs been there for awhile now!
They're not exactly local for you, but damn they're close to me!

We bought our boat(Commodore 670 allrounder)
from the guys before and had a few probs getting little warranty things sorted.Spoke to Andrew the other day his response was drop it in for your service monday and we will see what we can do about sorting them out.Very easy to deal with from when i first meet them at the boat show and ordered the boat and now with the service shop makes it easy.Just wish it had a drive thru as it can be a challenge to reverse a 7m plus boat in off the main road in peak hour easy for me but pisses off some of the suit wearers in the morning.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Changes being made
Changes are being made to enable easier entry and exit for bigger boats, essentially drive through.
We have a rear lane behind the yard and we are in the process of fisxing gates to allow people to drive in, unhitch and drive aout, and then when picking the boat up you can enter from the lane hitch up, as we would have turned the boat around with the forklift, and then drive out the main gate.
We need this for the 8m boats as they are 10m on the trailers, and we have people wanting to bring in big cats to get work done.
Thanks for the feedback and hope to see you all soon, as speaking of big boats THE Rat will be at the yard before next weekend.
Thanks again,
Andrew
