Mostly they're electric over hydraulic units and if you're getting noise, its probably trying to pump.

I hope its not the transport bracket ;)

I had a similar problem with my inboard after being left for a while.

Try pumping some grease into the swivel pins at the top of the leg and make sure the pump resovoir is topped up with fluid. If the leg is raised have someone stand on it while you are lowering it. Worked for mine.

hi

just a question wat coulor is the fluid in both resiviors,

normally the resivior in the leg is checked when fully down is your leg stuck up or down?

also as mentioned before is the transport lever/pin locked in if so youl never get it to move

ive had same prob leg got stuck in up position applied pressure and operated leg down

we got it down and checked level low only about 100mls

topped up and all good, obviously a leak if low

hope this helps but check the transport lock this has fooled me before
