G'day guys,

Where is a good spot in the metro area to catch a feed of whiting that are actually an edible size? I have been going to the beach near salt on the water and catching them like blowies but all small ones. is there anywhere in particular where I could get some 25-30cm models? i'm land based. cheers guys.

Still some big ones around if you know where to look. Did well in about 30m behind carnac island a couple weeks ago. Good feed.

Landbased, there are a couple good spots around mosman bay where there are some small beaches. I find that the bigger ones are in slightly deeper water at this time of year, which some people may disagree with. A good cast into a bit deeper water helps.
