Micro Jiggy Joo

Got the arvo off and headed out of Hillarys to see if I could find some bird/bait/bustup action out in the 40s. Cruised around for a bit with nothing to be seen then headed to a mark that was in the area and dropped a 30g Caprice down that was ready to go on the lil jigger. Few hops and turns and boom, hooked up. A few runs and not wanting to leave the bottom, I couldnt put much more drag on the lil 2000 caldia incase of bustin the PE0.6 WX4. Backed up a few times to stay on top of the fish and eventually up comes this 7kg Dhu. My best fish so far on the micro jigger.

Nothing, I felt like I was one of those wanderers, lost in the desert and kept seeing the oasis in the distance, a mass of birds and fish jumpin everywhere, not to be haha

Haha Raff. Nah Andy, way lighter stick, its rated pe0.6-1.5, jig max 30g, only got into micro jigging to have fun catching stuff like skippy and live bait but has accounted for a few good fish, been a bit lucky. I had a db 64cj and loved it but have upgraded to a salty 62s and a 4000 running pe3 as my jigger, but it was rigged with an xrap today. Literally pulled up, sounded over, grabbed the micro jigger, sat over the fish and dropped the jig down, I wish I could catch pinkies as easy as I get Dhus haha. You up in bird this weekend?

Nice work. Lucky you dont have thousands of sharks stealing your catch. Would be almost impossible to use light gear in the Pilbara.

Nice picture on the Sounder . Just out of interest what TVG were you running High/Med or low and how much clutter erase.
