Heading up to shark bay for the first time next week and heard there are a few crabs around on the monkey mia side, any tips on where to go and what sort of depths would be appreciated. Cheers

Monkey Mia Crabbing
Spent three hours crabbing off Monkey Mia yesterday for about 18 sized crabs in about 4m off water between the pearl farm and the resort, as randall df223 said, hard work for so few, but was informed by the locals that they will improve over the next couple of weeks. Mullet heads is the secret weapon, I was also informed!!!!!!!!!! They crabs we caught were all full of meat and very sweet to eat. There were some boats further north and out deeper, but I don't know how they went if their catch was any better.
Good luck.
