caught this thumping whiting off dunsborough today on pe1-2 was an amzing fight pulled heaps drag took half a squid bait. smashed previouse pb of 41

About average for Mandurah
About average for Mandurah KG's most are about 50- 55cm we get down here quite a few of them too not uncommon to come home with at least 2 or more every trip look for flat coral in about 30m, use a small but strong hook on the bottom of your paternoster rigs like a 2/0 hoodlum etc you'll be surprised as to how many good fish Baldies especially, you'll ping on the smaller hooks , best one I've seen was caught by Lockies old man a few years ago now, before digital photography, it went 76cm took a whole mulie on ganged 6/0's

My PB still stands at 58 but that was on snapper gear - wish I had mine on something lighter.
Used to catch some decent KG's with twin ganged 6/0s and whole or 1/2 pilchard off the beach when fishing for salmon but not this big
