Thinking about doing a trip out to the Motebellos amd noticed there is a boat ramp on the Fotescue, Coming up from Perth ...How easy is the access to the ramp?
I cant see where the track hits the Hwy

There is no ramp as such
There is no ramp as such mate. It's a dirt ramp. You have to travel for about half hour on a gravel track until you hit the ramp. Best also to launch on high tide

It is a bit of a pain as it drops away really quick.We got lucky last time I was there as they had just graded the track.
You can go on the bitumen road to to dickhead palmers mine for a fair way.

When
when you looking at going churchy we headin over on the 8th oct for a couple days from fortescue.
We feel nothing but a certain difficulty in continuing to stand

It looks like a gate and a sign with River something on it
at the intersection. Is this a station track ? do we need permission from someone?

We are heading over next week
We are heading over next week for an overnighter, taking an 8m cat, went there last time with a 7m haines, no probs. Only have to travel about 5kms of gravel now with the bitumen going most of the way in.

The turn off is about 12km
The turn off is about 12km after the Fortesque Road house for the bitumen and around 14km for the dirt turnoff easy to find on google maps
