Might be doing a trip to the Montes very soon with 3 boats for 3 days, So Im asking is it ok to camp on the islands that are open to fishing as I cant find any info on camping only fishing zones.

they have everything you need to know about which islands to camp on and where the no fishing zones are. When ya goin up????

Check the DEC website.
You can camp on six islands, but you need to take into consideration that certain islands and places are better to camp due to others depending on the winds and the size of the tides.
Keen to get back up there myself at some point but I'm pretty much limited to school holidays.
A good chartplotter is an essential item for over that way Craig.
