banks have broken
i was there on the weekend and the banks broke sunday night.

bit of a dumb question, but
bit of a dumb question, but what does it mean when the banks break?
I know what would mean the river and ocean meet up but in terms of fishing etc?
And is there much fishing during the day, was thinking of just going a day trip sometime, did an over nighter and caught some tailor and hooked up to a sting ray lol

it just creates..
another food source for fish in the ocean near by. When the bank breaks food ( fish, crusteceans, plants) are flushed into the ocean from the river and larger fish can easily pick them off.
Fishing around these can be good as more fish will move into the area to feed.

Went and Tried - Nothing
Been monitoring water levels via websites, as well as other sources on when this was going to break...
Sadly the earliest I was able to get there was Thursday night...
3-4 hours of herring and mullet fillets got next to no interest, with only one small run, that didnt stick...
On the plus side though, minimal weed, quite fishable if you dont mind the cold...
All that I know...Is that my gut says.....Maybe...
