Moore River

With the swell up this weekend offshore and arms still hurting from last weekends sambos, I was looking at taking the tinnie up to Moore river for a bream fish. Does anyone know how much water is up there atm and obviously any reports of bream would be appreciated. cheers/Ben

Was up there a few weeks ago
Was up there a few weeks ago and the place is swarming with baby bream. Only went up river a few km's but seemed pretty deep apart from 1 spot about 400 metres from the ramp

thanks Dumper- yes I know where you're talking about, always gets a bit shallow there. might head a fair way up river in that case to see if I can find some bigger fish hard against the snags.

Ok so ended up having a fish
Ok so ended up having a fish yesty arvo, put in at the woodridge ramp and headed up river a couple kms. Plenty of snags but very very shallow. Ended up with 6 keepers fishing hard in on the snags (25-28cm) so not big fish. Used bait and hard body lures, only got one keeper on the hard body, rest were taken on peeled prawn hard in on the snags. Must of caught over 40 undersize bream. no idea where the bigger fish are but was still a good session, plenty of action and a good feed. cheers for the info guys the woodridge ramp is the way to go.
