hey all for easter i am headed down to moore river, bringing all the bream gear for the river but was going to chase bigger fish in thr ocean . Is there better to fish where the river meets the ocean or get away from that. Never been but family trip so im bringing all the fishing gear. Any advice where to go around there? Cheers

river mouth
River mouth is good for all the usual species, if you travel a little north there is a small rock groyne, that fishes well for tailor. Just have a look on google maps.
Goodluck, look forward to a report on how it goes.
