More Boats than Water

You could have walked to Carnac Island from Woodies last night across all the boats!
I bagged out after 3 casts after finding an unoccupied lump. How did we all do last night?

Empty... We only hit the water around 5pm and it was like a carpark! Wasn't even comfortable trawling around looking for a lump!
Plenty of Wrase action early on but that died around 15mins before sunset and then not another bite until we packed up at 7.30pm

bombed out in Warnbro
Thought I would try and avoid the hoards in Cockburn Sound but it didn't pay off. Stayed out until 8:30 freezing the Jatz Crackers off and pulled the pin.

Ditto to that
We were in amongst the masses from around 4:30pm to 8:00pm and didn't trouble the scorers.
Came back inside and tried the D9 for an hour or so, but no luck there either. Spoke to a few guys back at the ramp and didn't find one that would admit to having boated anything..

No anchor
I went fishing in morning and did okay with everything except Pinkies. Picked my son up at 5PM and went out to the North West Garden Island Ocean Car Park and the stupid anchor winch wouldn't let go of the anchor. After playing around with that for about 1 hour gave up and picked up some squid on the other side - my 10 year old's first squid ever - he got 4 in around 5 mins.
Went back in - too bloody cold to wash and clean up last night so boat on the lawn ready for a wash later on.
Bloody squid - 1min to catch 30min's to clean each of the buggers - they are going to be bait in the future.
Season count - 2 pink snapper and 3 dhufish :(

I got pushed off my usual
I got pushed off my usual spots and had to sound around so sounds like I struck gold. Makes up for a few weeks ago when I went out the back of Rotto for 6 hours for nothing but a petrol bill.

Right on top of the fish but no luck
Sounded 45 minutes + to find the fish and sat right on top for 2 hours for a zip.
Very quiet for us last night.
2 trip with no fish. That's fishing I suppose.
Still a good evening.
