More yak fishing catches

I'm a bit bored sitting at home today so I thought I may as well post some more pics of my kayak captures. The first two shots are taken at Dirk Hartog Island last May on the first night we were there. Just as we were about to head back in a big school of pink snapper showed upon my mates fishfinder in 4 metres of water in front of the homestead. This 70cm model hit the 90 mm laser pro hard body I was trolling like a freight trainand fought very hardon 5 kilo mono - tasted great for dinner too Wink

The other two shots are from Monkey Mia last year. The Pink Snapper went about 69cm caught out in the main channel I think and the Blue Lined Emporer was around 42cm - both caught on squid.

Yeah, I should be out there every morning Poddy. Oh for the Lotto life! Tomorrow is not looking flash on Seabreeze atm - swells on the up and the breeze will be picking up fairly early. I don't like any form of easterly - can be hard yakka punching back into one when you're heading back in and my legs & arms ain't what they used to be.
