last weekend my mate got what he thought was his first size pinkie it went just under 50cm I measured it and said "bad news Allan its just under it has to go back" it went just under 50 cm " oh hell I hate fishing he says" (although he is addicted to fishing) , I was looking at the fish ruler a bit closer today and read the rest of the rule about pinkies the 50 cm rule applies only applies between lancelin and black point and inner gulfs of shark bay other wise the 41cm applies . cant wait to tell him don't think he will be happy ha ha we were fishing out from rockingham

So I released a 46 and 49cm pinkies whilst in Cockburn sound the other night, because we were south of the 31 degree mark. Was this correct?

agree uncle. re pink snapper
if it's less than 60 or 65cm let it swim off for another day.
What goes around comes around.

Yep
Yep, my popcorn just got mixed into the burley , i'm of fishing to the blowholes just south of Flat rocks, near Red bluff wich is north of Black rocks but east of white rocks. F4ck it i should just jump in the boat and go out to the 3 mile that is 5 mile from the coast were the D9 dozzer ( that is not a dozzer ) was or was not sunk in 5 fathoms that is actualy 7 fathoms and west of mindaries at at SSW dirrection from the Gemmini wreck at Alkimos.
Hopfully i get a few Herring ,

hahah
you got it , dhue fish , jewfish, tommy rough, herring , stripy snapper, Spanish flag, snook , pike, tricky snapper pink snapper, chopper tailor, tailor, jumbo tailor, spangeled emperor , NW snapper , and I wont even start on trevallys it can get confusing and if you know the onslow area at all most of the locals use totally different names for them rather than the "official names" for the reefs and drop offs and ledges up there
