navionics chartplotter app

Just recently had probs with navman gps not acquiring sats. Aussie day weekend crabbing fishing planned!  Holy crap batman wat do I do? I get the wobbles if I leave home without a good plotter and sounder. NEVER FEAR NAVIONICS IS HERE!

downloaded the app and grudgingly paid money for an app for the first time in my life!

Best 17 bucks I ever spent! What a lifesaver. Works likea charm and my smartphones screen is about same size as my navman so nothing lost. Chews battery a bit but only coz I have screen illuminated all the time. 12v plug fixes that prob. Honestly guys for the money this thing was better than serviceable.

Pulled me out if the proverbial so my reputation is still intact as a master navigator with friends and family.

Nice to know its there as a backup if ever I need it.

No iam not connected to the makers in any way but credit where credit is due!

We Fished shark Bay and behind Dirk Hartog for a week last year with the nav app because we didn't want to pay that much for another maps card. I'm on it almost daily looking for lumps and drop offs

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

As per Mason above, i've put in an iPad mount and use it as a chart-plotter instead of the lowrance plotter/sounder. Just use the lowrance purely as a sounder now

Easy touch screen routing, directional guideline, easy waypoint entries and good detail with the option of satellite overlay.
