Went for a quick troll after work and got TimVB onto a nice mac north of Mandurah, cracked his mac cherry only 20 minutes into it.
Blew a gale while we were out and bucketed down so was a tad unpleasant at times, the maccie more than made up for it!!!! Fresh maccie all round.
Well done Tim, cheers to skipper Matt.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

well done, north of mandurah , south of 2 rocs ?
hey , thats my line, always willing to help I am.haha
so not good mackeral conditions , thats one great capture, afterwork , crappy weather
sometimes its almost like the great fishing god rewards us hey?
In tough years, one metro mack is like 10 from up north
enjoy the moment.
paul g , even in last years macko fest , more were taken feb ,march than in january, so dont give up
maximise all the good mornings and keep trying the proven spots
p.s dont tell anyone , metro macks still love a slow trolled gardie, tailor or mullet.

Great fish! As Paul says
Great fish! As Paul says though - does look like its laughing :-)
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Nice Fish
In trying conditions. I bet from the look off that squal line to the left off the picture you got out off there soon after??
Or did you toughen up and keep trolling!! I would be "out-o-there".
